Aim
The International Journal of Scientific Research and Management (IJSRM) publishes rigorously peer-reviewed research across the sciences, engineering, health, management, and the social sciences.
The journal exists to give well-conducted research a route to publication that is fast, transparent, and open to readers everywhere. It has a particular interest in work that connects disciplines — studies that apply the methods of one field to the problems of another, and studies whose findings matter to practitioners as well as to researchers. Contributions from early-career researchers and from institutions in low- and middle-income countries are actively welcomed.
IJSRM assesses every submission on the same criteria: originality, methodological soundness, ethical conduct, and clarity of reporting. The journal does not select for novelty of result or for the perceived importance of a field. Negative and confirmatory findings are publishable if the work behind them is sound.
Subject Sections
Submissions are handled within the following sections, each overseen by editors with expertise in that area.
Engineering and Computer Science Applied and computational sciences; computer science and software engineering; information technology and information systems; artificial intelligence and machine learning; data science and analytics; cybersecurity and network systems; electrical, mechanical, civil, and industrial engineering; chemical and environmental engineering; geology, mining, and materials.

Where a manuscript spans more than one section, it is assigned to the section best able to review it, and reviewers may be drawn from more than one.
Article Types
- Original Research Papers — full reports of original empirical or theoretical studies.
- Review Articles — critical, comprehensive surveys of a body of literature; systematic reviews should follow an established reporting standard such as PRISMA.
- Case Studies and Case Reports — including clinical case reports, for which written patient consent for publication is mandatory.
- Short Communications — concise reports of significant preliminary findings.
- Technical Notes — descriptions of a method, technique, instrument, or tool.
What the Journal Does Not Consider
- Work already published, or under consideration, elsewhere, in any language.
- Manuscripts that fall outside the sections above.
- Studies involving human participants or animals without documented ethics approval and consent.
- Manuscripts lacking a methods description sufficient for the work to be evaluated.
- Commercial, promotional, or advocacy material presented as research.
- Opinion pieces and editorials, other than by editorial invitation.
Language
All submissions must be in English of a standard sufficient for peer review. Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to have their manuscript checked before submission; the journal does not reject sound work for language alone, but poor language that obscures the science will delay or prevent review.
Publication Model
IJSRM is fully open access. Every article is free to read from the moment of publication, with no embargo, and is published under a CC BY 4.0 license with copyright retained by the authors. An Article Processing Charge falls due only after acceptance; there are no submission or review fees, and payment has no influence on editorial decisions. See the Rights and License and Publication Fee pages.
All articles are assigned a Crossref DOI and are published on a continuous basis within monthly issues.
Before You Submit
Authors should read the following pages, which set out the journal's requirements in full:
- Author Guidelines — manuscript structure, reference style, and the mandatory declarations (ethics approval, consent, competing interests, funding, data availability, AI use, and author contributions) that every submission must carry.
- Peer Review Process — how manuscripts are assessed, by whom, and to what timeline.
- Publication Ethics — the journal's COPE-aligned standards for authors, reviewers, and editors, including the plagiarism, correction, and retraction policies.
- Rights and License — copyright, licensing, and reuse rights.
